The struggles of small business owners, often made worse by soaring property tax appraisals and elected officials who have no experience with the real sactifice that goes into creating a successful business, is a concern that Tommy does not overlook. Tommy has been a steadfast supporter of the Liberty Police and Fire Departments, ensuring that our brave first responders have the resources they need to protect our community safely and efficiently. ✔ STRENGTHENED STREETS & INFRASTRUCTURE

Over the past two years, Tommy has supported the rehabilitation of more than 50 city streets, including major thoroughfares like North Travis and Texas streets. He is aware that there is still much to be done in various parts of the City, including McGuire Road, Fourth Street, Bowie Street, Layl Drive, and more. Tommy has been a strong advocate not only for street maintenance, but also in ensuring safe, clean water, and enhancing electric reliability, all of which contribute to making our neighborhoods a better place to live.

He advocates for responsible spending at the city level and is committed to ensuring that the city government lives within its means–seeking ways to cut unnecessary spending when possible and opposing record budget increases without corresponding spending cuts.
